was just chatting rep said within 60 days on new account i would have to wait to transfer mr anyone know if this is true

Talked to rep moments ago and they confirmed similarly, but different verbiage. Points wouldn't be in account for the 60 days (8 weeks). They are showing as Pending and will be available 7 days after second statement, and all points from here on out will be available 7 days after statement date. Perhaps it's a new MR account or new Amex relationship policy (this is my first Amex). I'm not sure about your spend on that card, but mine was 100% OS, so we'll see where that puts me in terms of FR and the like. I've yet to hear anything from either the CSR or messages/emails, which leads me to believe that I'm good to go when the points land (I had heard someone got hit with a message to call in about 2 hours after they spoke with a CSR about their frozen points).

YMMV. I'll report back for DP

I'd rather not call as it says MPX AMAZON on the charge.

I chatted & was told to wait up to 2 weeks & then get back to them if it didn't post. They wanted to know exactly what the purchase was.
once happened to me and chatted with manager and he manually gave me the credit. then i tried it again and got the credit the second time autimatically

HELP! It took a lot of hard work for me to do the spending for my AMEX PLATINUM MERCEDES, and I called up AMEX to see if they can give me the points now, before they post, and they told me that I can't get the 75k points as I already had this card about 2/3 years ago - is there any hope to still get them??

If I downgrade after AF appears on statement, then the due date comes and goes, and the AF still appears online, because it's not adjusted until the next statement closes, do I need to pay it? I chatted with Amex. One time they offered to "suspend" the AF; another time they just said not to worry about it. Is this considered not paying on time? Thanks.

No you don't have to pay it gets adjusted automatically right after the statement closes

My Ameriprise Plat $450 af just arrived and I will close the account unless I'm lucky and they waive the fee.
I also have an EveryDay card and I plan to hang on to the mr points until there's an airline transfer transfer bonus, contingent on the info below being true.

This webpage http://dealswelike.boardingarea.com/2014/11/06/bye-bye-platinum-hello-everyday/ states that
"With the Amex EveryDay you are given the exact same redemption options as the Platinum card (which is the same as the Premier Rewards Gold card)."

Is this still true?

!תודה

Just make sure that they are both earning towards the same MR account. As long as any card connected with that MR account stays open, you're fine.

If you file a report with cfpb any chance amex will give you the points even if you've had the card and don't legitimately deserve them

Why would they? What are you gonna file in that report?
