Hes not saying that have to or even should. He's asking for ideas of how he may be able to get them to do it anyway, especially since they often have excellent customer service.

Ime, Amex is very forgiving in these cases. I'm sure it's just a matter of which dept. to call...
then putpac if they say no HUCA there are no other options

Chat reps are good for downgrading/ closing cards.
Pokemon are good for walking around with nottin' to do.

It's 60 days as of now . Starting September 1st it will be 30 days
