My platinum is now a year old and the annual fee came due. I have an Amex everyday card.
1) do I need to downgrade or just cancel?
2) how long will Starwood gold last for?
3) is only delta lounge access going to work?
Thanks

I got the platinum 100k and my points posted, but now something just got refunded back to my card, which will put me under the $3000 spend, additionally now that I am looking at it, it seems that I only hit the $3000 spend because of the AF, which I am not sure how I messed that up, I think my best bet is to transfer my points out? any other ideas? Do I have to transfer all my points or just 100k?

If ur still within 90 days, finish the spending now. Otherwise u will prob get clawed back. And good luck transferring the points, if they're not already frozen

thanks- I am past 90 days, points were frozen at 1 time, then I did a test of 250 BA, a few months ago and it went through. Its not worth trying to talk to them, right?
Will this affect my relationship with Amex, for future cards?

SQ/AC would be pretty good options.

There have been reports of negative MR balances after the clawbacks. It may not effect your relationship with amex, but all future bonuses will go towards "paying off that debt"
