Just Doesn't look like it, Wouldn't someone like Dan that has an affiliate link know from his contacts if its considered a new product or not, without having to wait for someone to report back ?

(Not that I think there's a chance in a million this will count as a new product, but I wouldn't state something as a fact based on an untested opinion, as compelling as the logic may be.)

there have been a few people over chat have been told its a new enhanced platnum card. but then again i was told that chat doesnt always know what there talking about.

then whats the point of chat ? if amex has employed people and resources to make customers lives a little easier by chatting insteal of calling -then why not hold the chat reps to the same standards as the reps when you call in. dan always says if your chatting always save a screenshot, or get a copy of chat.

just got off chat..its just new benefits for new and existing customers..welcome bonuses are only for first time card holders. this is NOT considered a new product. just newly enhanced benefits.

and honestly if it were a new card there would be a lot more buzz and def a new signup page.
