I hope they extend it to all airlines and not just the one you chose, otherwise we are all stuck with flying Delta :(

Amex biz plat have always offered a free companion ticket on select business and first class fares. Which always translated into the highest possible fare. My question is can you now combine that offer with the 50% back on rewards ? On select routes it could be a great savings

Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Are you talking about the 50% rebate for points bookings?

Was this discussed already? Am I reading this correctly? You can no longer pay the charge cards on the next closing statement date? This is a huge blow!

We used to get almost 60 days if you posted the charge the day after closing. That was slashed to almost half now. I used to take great advantage of this. Paying off vendors after I've already collected from the customer was a huge help...

I guess the party is over...

One would hope they change the please pay by dates on the charge cards to reflect the timeframes used for the credit cards.

The previous shot is of a Business Gold card, this one is of a Personal Plat. Notice the differences;

Gold
  • Please Pay By
  • No "Minimum Payment Due"
  • 15 Day gap between Due Date and Closing

Plat
  • Your Payment is Due on
  • Yes "Minimum Payment Due"
  • 5 Day gap between Due Date and Closing

Are you saying the Plat is no longer a charge card while the business gold still stays on the program? If that's the case then it's not that bad after all.

I think maybe you have Pay Over Time on your Personal Plat.
