I want to upgrade my already paid award seat from coach to first class on Alaska. Will I receive the airline fee credit from Amex?
I have four award seats. Its  $80 each seat each way.

I still haven't chosen my airline. When I do, can I purchase an actual ticket and receive credit for it or do I have to purchase a gift card and use that to purchase the ticket?

You don't receive credit for buying directly a ticket.

Thanks! If I choose United as my airline and contribute to my United gift registry can I use the funds right away to buy a ticket or do I have to wait several hours/days before using the funds?

PGFHGS

Was not on purpose. I did the usual downgrade in Jan after getting the credit, and now got the 50k upgrade offer, and did it. Wondering if it's worth it to try.

Does any1 have any experience using the Amex Platinum Hertz benefit. I already have a Hertz Gold account. Is there any1 to get the 4 extra hours added to my current Hertz account? Also I booked it with cheaper CDP code on Hertz. It seems like I only can get the extra 4 hours if I use the Amex Platinum CDP code?
