I procrastinated, and need to do 7 Plats today.

Debating
PGGM = Cards are used for real biz and it creates accounting issues
UA TC= When will I ever use $2800 revenue at UA
why not do $1400 in Delta gc

why not sell it?

Are these UA Travel Certificates? Couldn't find where to buy them. Is it just adding credit to a travel bank? To sell them would you basically have to book a flight for someone or just give them a pin / code?

I need to put travel spend on my plat today as well.

You'll get the refund for the upgrade. It's just a question of if it'll count for the credit as well. For me it didn't but the miles did. YMMV but everything ought to be refunded and if it isn't after 7 business days then call 1-800-847-0578 and press Option #1.

He is trying to use it for real upgrade he will use not pggm

You sure? Anyone have any datapoints of travel charges actually posting in January, but counting for the previous year? Spoke to several reps who all said the charges had to post in 2016. I know, dropr :).

It seems that when getting a refund from Delta or Southwest that my amount due drops by the amount of the refund. Did anyone else notice this? Is this something that's been going on for a while that I missed. I don't recall seeing this before that past times I've refunded Delta tickets.

Does the travel credit have to.be used on your preferred airline? If yes, as one who signed up to Jetblue, can a jetblue gc purchase work?

No mention of JetBlue GC but many of the other options will work for JetBlue or any other selected airline. Also read the entire post, Dan stated that if the credit has not yet been spent there is a chance you can call and change your airline.

Thanks, I can no longer change airline at this point. I don't recall seeing any global option of a fee credit that would work regardless of your preferred airline choice. Can you point me to one?

Any credit to your account will go towards your amount due, doesn't matter if it's a merchant credit, payment, or any other adjustment.

Quoted from DDMS I deleted all bullets regarding specific airlines.

The following items have been reported to work for airline fee credit:

-Award redeposit and change fees from airline of your choice.
-Baggage fees from airline of your choice.
-Flight change fees from airline of your choice.
-Food and drinks from airline of your choice.
-Lounge access fees from airline of your choice.
-Phone reservation fees from airline of your choice.
-Seat selection or upgrade fees from airline of your choice.
-Standby fees from airline of your choice.

I didn't realize this was the case. It didn't seem this way on my spg. Does this work for hitting spend thresholds? If it goes toward the amount due like it's doing for me now it looks like a payment not a return ( a return wouldn't affect the amount I owe for the period).

You're not making sense, rephrase your question.
