Noooo. We could've all quit our jobs if they did.

I'm not sure if I am breaking news here but I haven't seen it discussed on the forum...

I know the CONSUMER plat offers 5x airfare but I just got a promotion for a limited-time 5x on airfare from the BUSINESS. Maybe others are eligible too. Just thought I'd share. I have screenshots but the files are too big to post.

If I am showing credit for travel charge, is there any chance of the credit being reversed if I cancel that original charge?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Just did DL PGGM at the end of 2016 and then again early January on my new Plat Biz. On my personal Plat, I noticed the $99 x2 for RT flight was billed as a single $198 pending charge (it was $99 x2 charges in past), so I decided to do a OW $99 on my Biz card in case the RT didn't work. Well, the $198 on personal was charged as $99 x2 on final charge and all PGGM worked, so I wanted to do a second $99 (I don't care about $2) for my Biz card. I did it on 1/12, just before the weekend, and all the charges were still pending when I checked yesterday (holiday). This morning, my statement closed, the pending charges are all gone and there are no final charges--not even for the $99 upgrade. Basically, it's as if I never did the transaction. I'm wondering if the statement close falling when the charge was pending has anything to do with this.

Same here did it a week ago and pending charges fell.. seems PGGM dead :( BDE?

Was your transaction at end of statement?

I just did it again, same card, on 1/18. Both the ticket and upgrade charges are still pending. They've never stayed pending this long for me before. Charged on 1/19 have already been approved. Seems like something changed. More datapoints would be useful.

I tried twice..stays in pending and then disappears. I'm thinking the only way it would post is maybe to wait once it posts but then would be too late to cancel

I was hoping my 1/18 charge would stick, but from what you said, it's dead. Fortunately, I can still change my airline and I only have $100 left. It's still early, I'll sit on this and see what develops. If nothing, then SW gift cards it is.

So now that PGGM is no longer, the only way to cashout of the credit is through GC's? Correct?

Can Delta flights be cancelled at 24 hrs or before end of next calendar day? For ex, if I buy a ticket at 7 am today, do I have to cancel by 7 am tomorrow? Or tomorrow before midnight? They call it a "24 hr policy" but I remember reading somewhere you have until the end of the next day. Different airline, maybe? Maybe the charge will finalize by then.
