Once a year in January.
But I've had it changed it the past by calling in as needed.

I received a retention bonus a month or 2 ago for keeping my plat card open and now when I chat to downgrade  they said when they try it says I need to call the retention department. Is this something new? possibly you can't downgrade after getting a retention bonus

Nothing to do with retention bonus, you can't downgrade plats over chat anymore.

O ok I didn't know that thanks for that info,
but they will most likely see they gave me points to keep it open... they will most likely be hesitant to downgrade
