I received an offer for an amex platinum card 100K points. I think I would use it to sell the points for cash. They will not waive the $450 annual fee. Any ideas how to avoid it? Can I cancel after 1-2 months and get a refund?

Thanks

That may be true but it had nothing to do with the OP's question.

I wasn't trying to answer, just to explain to him that your not allowed to sell! as he said the reason for opening the card.

We don't have DDF so that we can follow the t&c's.

I wanted to use the global entry credit by my platinum card but by mistake I went to the wrong website they made me pay $190 (on the bill it's coming up in two separate transactions one of hundred dollars by global entry in another $90)
Is there anyway I can cancel or disputed the charge?
Thanks

I was about to do a PGGM with a full refundable jb flight, but now I feel a bit apprehensive. Is PGGM, still safe? I'm afraid about the RATS task force. I don't plan on closing the card this year.

+1

If it is risky, is there an updated list of what GC's and denominations that can be purchased?

There was a discussion somewhere ( paging @TimT ). I believe there was nothing to do about it.
