Got approved for biz plat on 5/30 and activated cards last night. At what point would I find out that I am/aren't eligible for a welcome offer despite/due to once per lifetime limit? When activating the card via phone, the rep confirmed the welcome offer on the account. Is that conclusive? Thinking I might have a chance at the sign-up bonus based on this DP http://www.doctorofcredit.com/everything-want-know-american-express-upgrade-offers/#If_I_Receive_A_Bonus_From_An_Upgrade_Offer_But_Haven8217t_Had_That_Card_Before_8211_Can_I_Get_The_Sign_Up_Bonus_Again but would like to confirm before putting $20k on the card.

Are you referring to the fact that even upgraded plats will earn 50%?  I have confirmation on Twitter.

On MR summary of points, I have points earned from Amex 5X TLS? Is that from 5x for booking on Amex Travel?

Still didn't get an answer to this. Still have those points. Didn't get on other points bookings. Might be a data point, though it's not 4x the amount I spent on the tickets.

I have a line for 5x TLS which equaled exactly 4x on travel charges that were then redeemed for points with 50% back pending.

I upgraded my business platinum in October and was told by a rep I'd be good on the 50% bonus until october of this year. I logged in and see that the airline bonus is showing 35%. Is that the just the standard screen and no cause for concern? Any thoughts?

I missed my connecting flight
So Aa put me on a flight 6 hours later. Purchased with Amex platinum personal card.

Will my Uber to leave airport and come back and food etc. be covered under Amex insurance.

I got an offer from amex in the mail for 100,000 points and I signed up for it and received the bonus. After a few weeks I received another offer in my name again for 100,000 points even though I had already successfully signed up with the previous mail in bonus  2 months earlier. Am I able to sign up with this mail in bonus again? Or was this a mistake on Amex is part?
There was no language stating I can't get the bonus a second time, but I never canceled the first platinum.

Just make sure it's a different offer code.
