1) Any benefits to keeping the amex plat corporate card with $595 AF?
I get priority pass from the Sapphire reserve.
Cant see much use out of it.

2) MY 30 day to cancel is May 3rd, and like an idiot I didn't use the dell or airline credit.  If I make the dell/airline purchase today and cancel card on the 3rd (2 days) Im assuming I most likely won't get the credit?

3) Anyway to downgrade later and get a pro-rated?
BTW, did you open the card 30 days ago? or your renewal is coming up?

Not to reiterate, but the AF will prorate if downgraded to the green card?
TY
Correct, you"ll receive a prorated  refund, and will be charged $95 for the green card, which gives you another 30 days to cancel and get full refund

Anyone have success downgrading to green card from Platinum...... and then getting within the year 50K upgrade option back to Plat?

The annual fee is due and I'm trying to justify keeping a card which benefits don't really suit me.

Thanks

That's exactly what happened to me. FYI you wont be able to get the airline credit again in 2019 even after upgrading.

Names aren't hardcoded?
They are...
I thought I had checked and they weren't, but I just checked again and it is.

If I open a business blue card to keep my points alive, will I be able to transfer back to a platinum account if I should open one again?  I want to be able to utilize the 35% bonus but I'm not ready to take my family on a trip this year.

yes.
No transferring going on,you have 1 MR account and as long you have a cc earning MR points it doesn't expire

Last year on my wife's bp card she got an offer by mail to enroll in 'pay over time' and receive 10k mr just for the enrollment.
The past few months I had few representatives offering me to enroll on my bp without the 10k offer, so I politely declined until yesterday that finnaly the representative mentioned the 10k mr offer. I gladly accepted.
Don't accept it until you receive the 10k offer.

Ofcourse! They send it out every few months. I just got it on my Personal Gold card. It's awesome, free points!!
