if my monthly cell phone credit was charged and went through end of last month but the credit came in dec 1st, can i still use the benefit for december?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I just got the Amex Plat (personal) for the first time.

I have 2 weeks to use my airline credit and just booked Jetblue flights. I know my tickets arent eligible for the credit, but can I now book even more space seats before the flight? Would that trigger the credit? Any other thoughts on how to use it in the next 2 weeks?

For the $200 renewal travel credit available only on Amex travel, how can I turn this into a long term credit? Would booking UA flight then cancelling with UA work to get a ETC? Any other ideas? thanks

just saw on my amex plaitnum an amex offer spend $50 and get $50 off can use twice. so $100 free at home depot.

has anyone else seen this?
