I used my Jul-Dec Saks credit a week ago but have to return/exchange the item because it was too big.

If I return it will I be able to use the credit on my next purchase? I once saw a DP of someone who said Amex clawed back a Saks credit for a return a year later, so I'm just wary that they won't 'see' the return and the second order now and I'll have to deal with it in the future...

Or maybe a better solution- can I exchange at Saks without it going back on my credit card?

Just checked, and you're correct. Thank you.

Annoying that they don't just email a gc but better than dealing with amex clawbacks...

Anyone here that is on the Morgan Stanley Platinum CashPlus Account with Morgan Stanley AMEX Platinum ?  I'm trying to find a way around the below monthly 5k deposit requirement.

What's the cheapest way to send deposits ? Will they ban me if I zelle 5k and then send back 5k each month?  thanks!

Eligible deposits, in order to meet the above $5K per month deposit requirement, include:
Direct Deposit of payroll
Incoming Transfers
Mobile Check Deposit
Branch Check Deposit
Incoming Send Money with Zelle®
Incoming Wire
Any Social Security Deposit
Distributions from a Morgan Stanley Retirement Account

Can I apply for and get a SUB on 2 x Amex biz plat cards - 1 for a sole prop business and 1 with EIN, or does that violate the 1 per lifetime rule?

anyone?

I don't have personal experience here but I found this fairly recent blog post saying you would not qualify for a 2nd bonus (unless you got a targeted offer that didn't have the lifetime language)

Hope this helps

For additional users on the business plat, what's the difference between adding them as a gold card for $45/yr or green for free? Does gold give any benefits?

Can't find any info about this on the amex site...

Thanks, that's for the personal plat though.

For the biz plat I did find info on the benefit adding additional plat users, but no info on the difference between gold and green.

Thanks for adding that. He does talk about gold and green but I don't see him say that there's any difference....

Quote
Additional user cards issued as an Amex Gold Card or Amex Green Card do not receive the extended benefits or level of earnings of Amex Business Platinum card additional users. The cost to add these authorized users, however, is much less. You’ll pay $45 each year for each Amex Gold card, and no extra charge for Amex Green cards (see rates and fees).

Amex Gold cards and Amex Green cards earn 2x and 1x points, respectively, for travel via Amex Travel and 1x points on all other purchases.

me and my wife each have our own personal amex platinum, each received with 125k+ points at signup and have accumulated multiple of that in points since, enough to cover 2-3 years of travel/vacations.
on the personal card we will downgrade one of the cards this year due to cost/value of keeping both.
i received now an offer for the business platinum with a 130k points signup offer. does it make any sense to add the business plat. at this time for the points alone?
(other benefits are not of real use or would be duplicate to our personal cards)
