Some guy was sitting next to me at the DDF seminar, when I told him the days of Amex matching to 100k for all are dead he insisted that he got an offer in the mail for 100k. I said: So what? the Amex matching gravy train is still dead" he took the offer out of his pocket and started shoving it in my face:  "here, wanna see". Poor guy didn't get what I was saying...

Poor guy got a targeted offer though and thus could care less what you were saying.

Question: After i Get the points and cancel the card to get AF refunded, what happens to the points, how can i save them?

I have amex Zync and Blue cash, do they transfer there?

Maybe stupid question but went thru most of thread and didnt find answer

It stays in your account if you have other MR cards. Green and Gold allow for airline transfers. The others like Zync don't allow transfers but save it for when you get another Plat/Gold card

Thanks, yes i have the ZYNC so it will stay in the zync account, and they wont revoke them once i cancel the card?

i did a 3bm for 1 gold, mb platinum and regular platinum, the points for the mb and gold posted right away the reg platinum show nothing 3 weeks. i called and first was told by a manager that i can get the points for both platinums now a senior sup. told me i can only get for one and i can write to corporate offices if i want. any one have this? any ideas??

i just got off the phone with this senior manager who i made listen to the earlier phone conversations and she came back and said even though i shouldnt be getting the points she will honor what the other manager told me.

can i cancel my card through sm?
