technically you may not be eligible but many many people have gotten both and even multiple times for the same card!
don't worry too much but as usual YMMV.

The new language went in about a month or 2 ago? Everyone who had their plats and cancelled before that has got the bonus again successfully as far as I know.

The real test is to have someone get the bonus post new language, then cancel and try and get the bonus again in under 12 months

They canceled my app 2 weeks ago for the Plat MB. When I called up to ask why, they said b/c I had the card back in April. Might just be dumb luck though.

you applied for the MB and had that a few months ago or the reg?

Does the 60 day timer to cancel start after your membership fee hits, or the day you get approved for the card?

Don't recall -- it was either the 3K link causing the problems, or I couldn't find a reliable Vanilla Plat for 50K offer.
