Does the Business Platinum offer baggage delay insurance? If yes, where can I find the details?

ETA looks like that is for baggage insurance not baggage delay.

Wow that's interesting. TIL. Every Chase card I just looked at even ones with no AF includes luggage delay insurance:

If your baggage is delayed for 6+ hours, you can claim up to $100 per day to cover expenses like toiletries & clothing, for up to 3-5 days depending on the card.

No AMEX cards and honestly few cards from others as well include this benefit.

ETA: seems like most Barclays cards have it as well and it even starts after only 4 hours:

If your baggage is delayed for 4+ hours, you can claim up to $100 per day, for up to 3 days.

My  prizes from CV :)

Good to know.
I instinctively used my Amex to book, assuming they have good coverage. Next time Iíll use my CSR.

I see an offer for 20k for adding a personal Plat AU. (Which would be nice for centurion lounges as well.)
Though I have P2 added as a companion card(free).  Wonder if I remove them and re-add as a paid Platinum would it trigger the offer? Or shall I wait a few days before opening card in P2 name after closing companion card?

Here's what the offer looks like.

Rep told me that if I downgrade a platinum card within 1 year the welcome bonus will be recouped. Does this make sense?

So why do people downgrade. Is that after year one?

Yes
"According to Amexís Terms and Conditions, downgrading or canceling your card in the first year can result in losing any rewards earned. So it is best to wait at least a year before making the decision to downgrade to the Amex Gold. Unlike an upgrade, a downgrade will not be eligible for any welcome bonus or special offer."

No it can be booked in anyone's name. Guest will need an Amex card in their own name.
