I think the PRG + Plat/MB will work, but not Plat + MB.
Just had this with the Biz Gold + Biz Plat = 100k

, but Plat = MB = 50k

I just did plat+mb - mb posted after spend plat didnt yet received conf via sm tht it will within 8 weeks.....time will tell

Check out this response today on my PRG when I explained it had been over a year since my last bonus - he is saying T&C only allow 1 product bonus per lifetime

I have checked your Card account ending in xxxxx and see that the promotional offer associated with your Card account is "get 25,000 Membership Rewards bonus points after you spend $2,000 on the Card within the first three months of Cardmembership."

I would like to inform you that as per the terms and conditions of this offer, Cardmembers are eligible to get bonus points for only one Card account.

This means that if you had a Premier Rewards Gold Card before and you received bonus points on that Card, you are not eligible for bonus points on another Premier Rewards Gold Card.

I see that you received 25,000 bonus points on your previous Premier Rewards Gold Card (xxxxx) on 9/01/2011. Therefore, you are not eligible for another 25,000 bonus points on your Card account ending in xxxxx.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I got the same message for my plat card. After 8 weeks, I responded the sm and told I was not eligible.

So I should cancel my Zync card then? It's my oldest Amex card, but since Amex considers all your accounts to be as old as your oldest card, I can continue with just having my SPG right?

I SM'ed inquiring about my 50K and got this very interesting response:

You are eligible to receive 50,000 bonus points for only one Platinum Card account.

This is because bonus point is issued only once during Cardmembership, irrespective of the number of Platinum Card accounts established/opened in last 12 months.

I see that you had a Platinum Card (ending in xxxxx), which was cancelled as per your instructions on 08/12/2012. 50,000 bonus points were issued on 8/12/2012 on this Card account. I suspect that if you receive 50,000 bonus points you will cancel the card soon. Therefore you are not eligible for the bonus.

Same thing happened to me on the MB plat, but I responded with an angry message and the guy had his manager post the points.
