So MR bonuses are limited to one per year per biz account and one per year per personal account?
You need to not have that "product" for a year before you can get it again.

So then if I got the personal gold bonus I would not be able to get the personal Plat bonus? But the MB Plat bonus would be eligible?

I currently have the Amex Gold card but am traveling a few times this year on Delta and American. I just want the lounge access. Is it worth upgrading and then downgrading back to the gold?
Or is there someone out there who would add me to their account for a day, allow me to get the card with my name and then cancel it so that I will also get lounge access? If you would be so kind please email me. If you already have 1 or 2 additional cards this will cost you nothing to add me, but I will give you some compensation for your time.
I am a college student and want to make sure my credit history looks good, so don't want to mess around with my upgrading and downgrading.

You don't 'mess' around with upgrading and downgrading.

I read many request over the years , I think yours takes first place!! , if I understand you,----you  would like someone to give you an amex card that has a credit line  ---I know this community does many things to help each other , but this is way over the top  -- not saying you would abuse , but lets just say  you have balls to ask after only 8 posts

They don't have to give it to me until it is canceled. Order it, activate it, cancel it then send it to me. Not too crazy.
Someone has asked me on the DD sight to spend money at officemax for them!

Would you consider it after 1000 posts? Its online message boards, you need to know the person regardless of 8 posts or a million posts. I can understand having the more posts and Lifetime Elite Ultimate 20K Platinum rating gives you more credibility on the site but you still need to talk/meet in person, no?.
I am not 100% sure about this. But I am going to click it anyway.

I agree with you completely. I go to college in NY and am home in Cleveland for the summer. If someone wants to meet over coffee and discuss this opportunity to be kind, I would be happy to do so.

I do not have a platinum card but I personally do not see the problem if you only give him the CC after that card is closed. He still gets lounge access and you can charge him $ for the card. Just my two cents

Have a question and hope that someone can help me out. My wife was targeted by AMEX for 100k points offer to sign up. We did and were approved. A couple weeks later she got another offer from AMEX for the same card and same bonus, but new offer. This time I applied in my name w my SS. Got a response from AMEX to my email but addressed in my wife's name asking for me to call back to give them and give them my SS and Business phone number. I dunno what to say, my SS or my wife's? On the app I used my own. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

It has the $200 airline fee credit, but no signup bonus.
Annual fee is waived for the first year.
You don't need an Ameriprise account to get approved, (unofficially).

Can you confirm that people are successfully getting this card through this offer without having an Ameriprise account? I read the fine print on the bottom and they explicitly state that you must have a continued relationship with Ameriprise to get and keep the card. Are they not enforcing that?

There is actually a thread about the upgrade. No pull.
