That's fantastic! If I already got the platinum and the bonus an canceled the card I know I can apply and will most likely get approved but will they give me a hassle when I go to cancel again? Is there a chance they will give me a financial review or that it will hurt my overall interactions with American Express?

I called to add additional card holders to the plat card. I was told it's $300 a card! What happened to the $175 for up to three additional cardholders?

Update: It seems that the personal and business have different fees! The rep i spoke with told me that it was a marketing decision, and there was nothing they could do. Any ideas?

Do you know anyone who has successfully done so? Please report the specifics if you do. The question has been discussed here in the past, but there hasn't yet been a conclusive answer IIRC.

There seemed to have been a conclusive ans as far as priority pass being canceled along with your plat card- and it seems like they cancel your priority pass also once you cancel your plat card

Well, we know cancelled Amex cards, so maybe cancelled PP cards work too.

i have tried a cancelled pp card,when they swipe it it tells you to call cs cuz it wont go thru booo!!! however ymmv if you can talk your way in(somthing mabe wrong with the machine,you c i have a card etc)

I've used expired plat in JFK AA lounges as well as MIA without a problem
