Rabbi Sorotzkin said that they don't really suspect him, they just want to get the US off their heads.

How would he know this?

What's the story with the lie detector?
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't get what's with the conspiracy theories.

Is it not standard procedure to question the last person he was with? (Of course still with the assumption of innocence.)

Is the last person to be with someone, not the natural suspect number 1? (Again, still with the presumption of innocence.)

Is there really ABSOLUTELY NOTHING suspicious at all about leaving someone alone in a forest?!?

No one should be accused of wrong doing without due process, and only time will tell the truth, but I just don't see any conspiracy going on over here.

if hamas has him, why didnt they say anything til now, no demands, nothing? very strange

If Hamas has him and I'm not sure that I think they do they wouldn't necessarily take credit or make demands just yet at all.

Meanwhile I don't know why everyone is so quick to bash the Israeli government and the police.

The story we've heard so far is very odd indeed. Let's assume the police know what they're doing before going around bashing their job.
Why is everyone so quick to play the "charedi" card?

+1

It would certainly go along with the fact that the story was so vague and weird.

Did you miss that Rabbi Sorotzkin said that they are starving the kid? Are you accusing a Gadol B'Yisrael of lying?

In this clip Dov Hikind clearly says that the Israeli Gov't didn't do enough during the 1st few days.

Huh?

He obviously did not get that information first hand.

So its either second, third, fourth or fifth.

Are you suggesting that it would be impossible that it wasn't 'broken telephoned' along the way?

How does lying even come into the picture?

Nope. But it sounds like they are assuming he's unquestionably innocent.

He said, to them, it seems like they didn't. To me the whole case seems odd. I would hope the police know more than we do.

Also, why would they treat him like a soldier missing? An active soldier missing is always gonna get more effort into their being found.  Meanwhile that has nothing to do with being Charedi.

Was he inside the jail cell? Or the interrogation room?

By all means, please correct me if I'm wrong.

What you're missing is the accusation of starvation! That changes everything!

Do you think Rav Sorotzkin would make a claim in front of thousands of people based on a far fetched source?

Your original post said you don't get the conspiracy of questioning the friend. THAT'S NOT THE CONSPIRACY. The conspiracy is starving him.

Everything you have said makes sense except one thing. While the police will always say they give the person being interrogated the presumption of innocence that is not always the case.

Why is that a conspiracy? While you may not agree with the practice it is done often enough to get people to confess.
I for one am praying for him. But that in no way means I believe unquestionably that he is innocent.

So do you think he was inside the interrogation room and saw it first hand?

Yes or no?

Hate to Mr. Obvious, but I think it's pretty clear which one it was.

True. Which is why, although not always perfect, we have a court system.
