I just don't get why they separated. Unless you're an experienced hiker it's usually best to stay together.


Meanwhile after so much time and not finding him in what seems a fairly 'small' area I also fear the worst.

What an unimaginable thing to have to go through. I hope they know more that they are sharing with the family. Half the anguish is not knowing what's going on.

They found his hat and jacket on Sunday, in the area of the forest that he was last seen in.
