SPG Peak Season Redemption Starting Again in 2011

In case anyone has missed this over on FT or SPG.com this week... they announced that beginning in 2011 many SPG properties will again be requiring more points for dates designated as "peak season".

Yup.
Book by 01/09 to avoid peak surcharges.
Hotels can now designate up to 16 weeks as peak.
