Open your eyes a bit. There are many who feel that it is better not to have internet in their home. These people may end up getting it anyhow if needed for business but will not have it until then. Some may have access at their place of work. There is nothing wrong with checking ddms so they asked someone who has access to do it for them. Stop trolling.
+1. There are many who would rather not have a potentially destructive device in their home. Respect them. And help them when they ask you to go on the net for them. Maybe they know themselves, and what they'd do if they'd have internet.

You're definitely right, to some extent there are people that only use Internet outside their house,  but for the most post people that are asking  me to buy stuff for then online or check a deal are anti Internet.

That's the key. Do they look down on you and think you're a rasha for having internet? Then they don't deserve your help with it. But if they just made a decision that they don't need it and would rather not have it, that's a different story.

I would posit that are living among people with different values than you. That can be a good thing.

And when someone near you has values that you think don't make sense, it doesn't mean you have to agree with them. But we can learn to accept people even if we think they don't make sense.

not sure what you mean.

Even if you don't accept someone's values, you can still accept them as a person who H' created and has inherent value.

What I mean to say is: If your neighbor is a child molester it isn't healthy to accept his values,  if your next door neighbor is an antisemitic piece of garbage it isn't  healthy to accept his values,  if your neighbor thinks that one who has internet access is a bad person,  it isn't healthy to accept his values.

A. She said values that don't make sense not values that are morally wrong.
B. She said accept him as a person not accept his values.

I did NOT say to accept his values. If your neighbor is a danger to society you have to do something about it. But if your neighbor has different view about the internet, that doesn't mean he is worthless. You can reject someone's views without rejecting them  as a person.

A client of my old boss who I helped in the past, asking me to continue helping him "as a friend" because he doesn't like my replacement...

I was never his friend! It was my job to help him and now it ain't!

I drive for a yeshiva and get paid for it.
One time the guy whos my boss in the yeshiva asked me if I can drive him to beni brak as a favor and I agreed.
It ended up being me picking him up from his house, going to some place that had a cheep sale, waiting around for an hour on a street with no parking, helping load the entire car with yom tov products for 3 familys, driving around beni brak in erev chag traffic, and shleping very hevy packages of stuff up multiple flights of stairs in 2 diffrent buildings with no elevator.
At the end of the "favor" that took 5! hours he comes over to me, puts 50 sheck in my shirt pocket with a huge grin and says: Enjoy!
