I know that some people were targeted for the spend $10 get $10 on Amazon through AMEX offers. I thought that perhaps it would be a good idea to buy an Amazon gift card for $50 and send it to "someone" (such as your spouse). Then you could make use of the current promotion that when you buy a $50 gift card you get another additional $10 on your amazon account to use in September.
