Some flights within Europe are cheaper to purchase but lets say I only want to book with points/miles is my above research the cheapest way?

In all certainty I would need to call SQ once I find availability. How about YQ on SQ? DL thru Flying Blue doesnt charge for YQ & its a direct flight.

No, for example AMS-JFK on DL via flying blue doesn't charge any YQ. Just one that came to mind.. plus doesnt flying blue think Israel is in Europe? Or at least it figures it that way I believe

Yup not sure what FB policy is.. They charge YQ on DL when departing LHR.
