must one pay the annual filing LLC fee in NJ if not in use?
« on: August 31, 2014, 07:28:37 PM »
If one has an LLC in New Jersey, they receive an annual report to file along with a $50 fee for the year.

What if you do not use your LLC? You may not even file taxes because you do not use it, but you do not want to loose it. Do you need to pay the fee? What if you don't? Or if you miss the pay by date, is there a fee? thanks

If you don't pay one year then next year they will charge you 100 for 2 years so no fee IIRC. Can't answer your other question.

After not paying for two years the LLC gets revoked from active status and you won't have the Benny of the LLC.
To either reinstate or formally close the LLC you must first make current all outstanding certifications for all active years.
