If you're able to max out the $50k on your Ink plus there is absolutely no reason to close it. If you are only able to spend closer to $25k, downgrade to an Ink Cash.

Just remember that you won't be able to get it again.

Don't think so,
My condolences :)

If you downgrade to Ink Cash you'll still get 5x up till $25k. But you can't transfer direct to airlines.

You can't sign up for the Ink Plus anymore but you can get the Ink Preferred if you're under 5/24.

Or if you are pre-approved according to the Bankers computer in the branch.

i don't wanna pay the AF for ink plus i wanna get the ink cash rather but i don't wanna downgrade because i wanna get the bonus for signing up for new product, so whats better option to apply first for ink cash and then close ink plus or maybe first close and then apply?
thanks
