True but you could keep the plus open until you downgrade the preferred, it just doesn't make sense to sign up for the cash when you could just as easily get the preffered which has a much higher sign up bonus.

In the evening store 1 said theyre out of them, store two  only allowed one. Back in the morning (new crew), store 1 only allowed one, store 2 I found them and took three and no questions asked. Better if you don't have to ask.

Is this for Amazon GCs? Stores in my area allow you to buy over the $2000 limit which is only for Visa and MC. Just bought $2000 MC but I am not going to buy more since they can be liquidated only at Kroger and the Kroger I use has problems with the MO machine, will wait for a Visa promo.

If it doesn't say it on the bottom of the application you are good to go.
Each card has its own clock.

I just noticed that for flights and rental cars purchased from Chase Travel (the Ultimate Rewards portal), the portion paid for with the Ink Plus credit card codes as a hotel purchase and earns double points.
