I for one love this song.  The music is so full of emotion,  and the words can be interpreted on so many levels.

Mostly personal....  However there can be so many meaning for Hastura Sh'bsoich Hastura.

Spend some time think about how a Hester Punim manifests itself in your life,  and then compound that by a Hastura Sh'bsoich Hastura. Then think how even with all that our Father is there for us.

It's based  on Luketay Maran, Toira Nun Vav.  R Nachman writes that even when the shchina is in Hastura Sh'bsoich Hastura, Hashem is still amongst us and can be drawn upon for support.

not very familiar with rav nachmans work but, i am pretty sure that is one of the havtachos that he will never totally abandon us there are tens if not hundreds of pesukim that clearlly say it, the words of the song aber de rebbi zugt are interesting

I'm just sharing me emotions when listening to this song and thinking about the words.  Who amongst us can say they've never felt or seen a Hester Panim.  But at least we know there's a Hastura.  Some people don't even know  that there is a Hastura.......  They're in Hastura Sh'bsoich Hastura.

The words around it though are some of the things that most in Chassidus have against the Breslov shita.

I didn't think you were attacking,  on the contrary I thought you were asking for my pshat. My honored to have this discussion with you.  I'm just not up to the pasuk yet...  I'm still in the song and the Toirah Nun Vav.  I will let you know if the chevra has any good toirah on the pasuk.
