$19 for an extra battery and battery charging dock is a no-brainer if you travel.

Nope, VZW is full price is $799 IIRC. $399 with an upgrade.

I have the sprint Framily plan with no upgrade options so I bought on eBay for $550

First thing to do on the Note Edge is to add a soft screen off button to the edge bar, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock&hl=en

Bonuses: Total call recorder and Foxfi wifi hotspot work perfectly.

I'm about to take the plunge for this phone. The rep in store tells me there is battery draining and heating issues ever since the update. Anyone having these issues?
