NAFAIK.

But for my parents trip TLV-LHR opened up 1 seat at a time at random intervals and I upgraded them from J to F as they did.

Split the PNRs to do it.
Also shortened their connect times in PHL when US doled out 1 seat on their desired flight at a time.
Gotta love free changes with AA. Sure hope it survives the merger...

Did anyone think about buying three seats on EY Y for $187 RT? That would have not been a bad idea, I would have booked 6 seats (for Two people) had i thought about it earlier.

Thought about it and discussed it, but decided it was not really worth it.

It's not a completely fair comparison.

Service in BA F is better than CX J, but the seat is eerily similar, just much more nicely appointed.

To give you an idea, the BA 777 crams *14* seats in the same space that the CX has *6*, so they're much less spacious.

So, yes, BA F is closer to CX J than it is CX F, but it ain't J.

You can't book 3 seats on the same flight.
