Vista is great. But make sure to get your prescription (including PD) when you get your first pair - then get a bunch more from the US as backup. (I use Goggle4U. My prescription is 6-7, so expensive, but at Goggles4U I pay as little as $10 a pair with the coupon codes they always have running.) This strategy has served me for years. (Jerusalem resident)

It is sometimes possible, though a pain, to do it through your regular insurance. I did it once, and it worked (cheaper), but it was enough to send me to Egert & Cohen after that. But this was years ago so who knows.
