They are a chain of tiny stores (with a few large ones) all over the country and therefore have a large selection on their website. How can they be considered like Amazon? It wasn't that long ago that they only sold computers and parts... More like an Israeli Newegg, tbh.

Have really good prices on a vast amount of products, and AFAICT most of their business is via shipping/pickup points, and not through the stores at this point.

Toys, perfume, small and large appliances, clothing, books etc... all found at KSP.

That's why it's "sort of like" and not "an amazon dupe".
On the main reason that people look to amazon - vast selection, good prices, and convenient delivery... sort of like. Call it Walmart/target/or whomever else is competing with AMZN in the E-retail space... It's the basic idea of if you need anything, look there and there's a high chance that they'll have it at a fair price. (Though they don't do food yet AFAIK)

Amazon is primarily a marketplace. In order to compete, Walmart also became a marketplace. Their selection is directly linked to their being a marketplace. KSP is entirely self-sufficient, and they expanded into other things only because their delivery network is so good that they may as well. (In that way, even Newegg is not comparable.)
Whatever, it is obvious that you see it that way but I didn't get the comparison.

Can't promise delivery to bayit vegan, but I could pick whatever you want up from chanan (which has a decent selection) or Hakol legan on the way home, and worst case s/o can get it from my house next to tachana merkazit. (or I can send it in a cab?)
