Where can I get a mifi (portable wifi) I need to connect my laptop (2 weeks)
I got one a few months ago at a camera store on Allenby in Tel Aviv.  If you are near TA I could look up the shop's name.  Or I'd also be willing to sell my used mifi.

An actual mifi was kind of difficult to find in TA - I searched at half a dozen stores before I found one.  On the other hand if you just want to connect your laptop, every phone store seems to carry USB networking sticks.  They take a GSM sim card and will get your laptop connected to the internet.  Cheaper than the standalone mifi too.

Panasonic cordless phones are one of the few electronic items whose A/C adaptor is strictly 120v (in the US) and strictly 220v here/Europe.  After bringing my Panasonic cordless set from the US I ended up buying a European replacement A/C adaptor inexpensively on Amazon and picking it up on a subsequent trip.  They are probably also available here at stores that carry Panasonic.

Now I get it. I was looking at panasonic ones.

Yeah but it's probably the junk tuna, not the quality stuff you can get in the US.

You can find a "whopping" single brand of white albacore tuna at Shufersol (I'm assuming only at the larger branches, like Deal).  It was that Filituna brand, only in oil unfortunately.  I think it ran about 15 shekels for 2 cans.

Extremely happy to report that I came across Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream (my favorite...) for the first time in my 9.5 years of living here.  Haagen-Daz brand, too.  Needless to say, that little pint didn't last to see day 3 :-)

I'm afraid not - kosher for אוכלי חלב נוכרי.  Made in France, imported by General Mills Israel. If I were to mention where I bought it, I would definitely be perm banned (the infamous non-kosher supermarket - didn't buy anything treif, don't worry) ;)  But there are more mainstream, kosher places out there where Haagen-Daz can be found, unfortunately not in my area.

But you did.

I don't know, is it really plausible that Chalav Stam would be tainted from the first world in this day and age?

Honestly, with all the scandals and contaminations in the food industry being reported here lately, who even knows if Cholov Yisroel is untainted?!

My שו"ע doesn't say anything about chulov stam, either chulov Akom which is Ossor or Chulov Yisroel which is permitted.

Also it was already proven that the whole chulev stam heter is irrelevant, as the maximum fine a you can get for labeling non cow milk, as cow milk is $250!! (This us for US, could be that in France they are even more lenient in mislabeling)
