Funny, I was just thinking the same thing.  If they simply offer the same obscure, poor-quality Chinese/European  clothing/electronics/appliance brands (Hemilton, Gold Label, זק"ש, etc. come to mind) that are currently sold here for even cheaper -- not a happy camper.  If they start selling the top names and quality name brands and even bring others that aren't available (e.g. Cuisinart) for 50% less = win.

Just imagine if they were to expand into the car importation business, bringing U.S. cars to Israel at the current price points?

Did you use a service or do it yourself?  Was it a U.S.-spec car?  If so, did they give you a hard time about the headlights and turn signals?

Used a service for import/customs. Will be doing registration myself. Happy to discuss via PM or maybe open a new topic for this. But better to wait once I'm done with the process. Should be another couple of weeks
