my experience has not shown that to be true at all.almost any time ive ordered from zap or researched before ordering , i found it to be cheaper in stores and with less hassle.returning is also more difficult with ordering the only times ive been happy using zap is when ordering things not commonly sold in charedi area stores.
i believe the reason is because the stores on zap are usually small stores similar to the ones in geula ,not big department stores like in america and they have to pay for delivery which is not like in america where you have a ups truck going down the block,its a guy in a car or tustus bringing just your delivery or maybe one more to your neighborhood.
it will take many years and big logistic centers along with high popularity until online shopping is competitive.
(dont get me wrong half the country orders from NEXT every day and the other half from amazon and ali express ,i mean local online shopping
