Recommendations for Business phone lines
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:56:39 PM »
Hi DDF'rs

I need recommendations for a small business phone service provider. We have around 60 lines in 4 offices between US and CA. Currently with CBeyond but very unhappy with service, I'd rather give the parnasa to another Yid.

TIA for your recommendations.

Telebroad.
A company I worked for uses them and was very happy overall.

I use Jivetel  and I'm very happy.  Google them.

Telebroad's service is excellent & their prices are too, (we use them in our company).

But one of the main cause for having issues with VOIP phone service is the modem & router not being configured correctly, so you have to make sure it's done the right way by a real professional.

Also, if you have many phone lines at one location it's best to have a separate internet line for it, and not to use the same as for the computers.

And if Fios in available in your area, use that for the phones, instead of cable internet service, because cable - even at a high speed - is not running on a consistent straight speed which at times might cause voice quality issues, vs Fios which always runs at the same speed level.

I used to be an authorized reseller for Cbeyond.

Technology has changed since I was last in the biz, just be aware that what Cbeyond is providing you is a T1; much different than Cable, DSL, even FIOS.

I'm looking to get now a VOIP line, and got from vocatech.com a cheaper quote then telebroad. But I can say, at my pervious workplaces, one has TB & 1 has VT, and both are good, and the cust service are great as well

I am looking to get a business line that will accept incoming GV transfers, is that at all doable? Has anyone tried? I called Jivetel and he said he cannot do it.

I want it to go to auto attendant.  I've heard great things about newtel as well.
