@vacation dude - def file identity theft before they get a chance to use the cards... if anyone has called amex recently (i did 5 times today basically) theyre automated voice message in the beginning says if u suspect fraud we guarantee u 100% of ur money back....

The only valid tayna i hear is the acquiring points fraudulently. Otherwise if they want to give out their SSN thats their issue everybody knows those risks involved. and from what i understand they take care of the FR otherwise how do they get the points?

I ounce tried to help a friend by calling recon for him with his info.
They smelled somthing funny and started asking the strangest qoustions like what streets intersect with the one I put on file as my address so I had to hang up and he didint get approved.
How are they oppening so meny cards for people with no amex history without raising red flags?

Sorry if I was not clear enough, HE WAS APPROVED FOR ALL THE CARDS. For some reason (which had nothing to do with him) Amex did not give them the bonus on one of the cards, (probably because the account is under FR and they couldn't charge the card)

He was told that once he is approved THEY TAKE CARE OF EVERYHING. And he will get $2,500.

So today he called again, and the guy tells him "we didn't get the bonus on the Platinum, so you only get $1,500"  so he said, well I never had an Amex in my life, so he got lost and he says, ummm were you an additional user so he says yes, and this dude tells him OH that's why that's why (which is not true as we all know) So he tells him, I was an AU on a gold not on a Platinum, here he was al lost and he tells him call Amex we can't help you. Then my friend tells him that "you know my account is under FR" so he says YES, WE HAVE NO IDEA, WHO TOLD YOU THAT? So he answered, I called Amex anf they say they see RT bounced checks so my account is under FR, so that dude tells him, Okay call us back next weeks Monday.

WHAT A BUNCH OF LIERS AND SCAMMERS: WHEN HE ASKED THEM 2 WEEKS AGO ABOUT THE FR THEY TOLD HIM, "WE HAVE CONNECTIONS AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT" now suddenly they have no idea about the FR. They lie to him that it is his fault why he did not get the bonus.

HowYaDoin, what else can I help you with? Tell your friends that they made $5,000 off this guy, why are they only giving him $1,500 when he was promised to get $2,500?
