Updated. Any final thoughts?
The story I was quoting, he doesn't know the teacher personally. Just having the account holder's
CC# that were used for the booking, calling Citibank, the account activity showed that the tax
amount of over $1,000 was refunded back to the credit card. The teacher gave this refund back to the farm.
The farm refused to even refund this amount. This AA account was part of the massacre in 2014.
His e-mail reply below:
"The account was flagged for selling points. I would love to reimburse for that, but I don't and so don't others."
"The tax charge was a cost incurred by the TA in booking the ticket.
As a courtesy, instead of him using gift cards or vcc, I facilitated a credit card to be used for that charge.
With most of the other accounts it never came into play because the TA used his own card. Even in cases where I facilitated the AH cc, it was understood that it was never an item sold, thus not in contention for refunding."
