They do refundables no big deal
I know somebody who bought an AA account from one of those people in Lakewood that offer people $$$.
He paid around $4,000 for the AA account, plus over $1,000 for the taxes on the ticket (so the tax is paid
on the account holder's credit card). The seller lied to him that the AA miles account is crystal clear with no shtick.
Few months late the account was closed down, and it came to light that the account was built with refundable spend.
This Lakewood ganev refused to refund the money and even the taxes that were refunded to the account holder's
credit card. The account holder is a rebbe in Lakewood cheder, and he was paid a few thousand for giving his SS#.
