Response to naysayers:
Some of you are unbelievable. All the post does is encourage you to be careful with your personal information, to think hard about the type of schemes you are getting yourself into and to excersize caution and discretion with credit/financial decisions. So the only people whose parnassah is getting screwed by this are those that are relying on duping others to some extent.

I guess I have a lot in common with him.
Can I start sending you all my cards to take care of the spending for free? You won't be like that guy who wanted $30k to teach someone how to spend money, or like those bloggers that expect people to sign up though their affiliate links, right?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

he claims not to do the risky things. In that case it boils down to trusting him and apparently he is concerned that they won't.
Personally I don't care if someone does risky things with other people's socials if everyone is aware of the risks involved. But to not want your customers to be aware of the risks means you run a shady/deceptive business. That's all Dan did was write a word of caution about sensitivity of information and things to consider.

No, no and no. Would you like to guess how many tens of thousands of WF tickets I booked at cost for members here?  :)

Correct but he did at the end of the day put them in "bad light"

True. If everyone is aware of the risks then there it is a calculated risk that he chose to take. I do understand that some feel that Dan's post may make some be more wary than they feel is warranted. I disagree with them.

When was the last controversial post that Dan made, and nobody got upset?

Good question.
I wouldn't be surprised to find out that many here do it on a regular basis on behalf of their respective DWs. A subset of those have no problem doing it on the phone too, despite having a male voice (some feel more comfortable when DW's name is not an English name).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Just realised I was reading the post wrong, I thought @JTZ meant for a cost, I guess he meant at cost price.
