Is JFK-LAX-LIM a permitted award routing in terms of MPM?
how about YVR-JFK-LIM?

I always try to cram as much bed time in the sky into a single award

IIRC it's over the MPM. Also it's practically impossible to find space, as I learned today.

That's true. I was only looking at September through the end of the schedule. You searched with BA?

Not sure if this is the right thread. I need to transfer 15000 SPG to AA should I just do 20K to get the additional 5K or only transfer what I need?

Depends on what you need - 5k SPG will get you 10k American but personally I would value the 5k SPG more - just really depends ultimately on your redemption value and which points are harder for you to get

Just a note for others- I wasn't seeing J availability on an EY flight AMM-AUH even though I had availability on AUH-SYD, then searched AMM-SYD and on exact same flights as married segments I was able to pull up 4 J seats.

Called AA rep and at first they said their was no availability, but I convinced her finally to search as a married segment and she was able to find and hold the awards for me.

Yes, as long as the rep that prices it doesn't realize you are backtracking and not taking the most direct routing.

No difference, AA USA shouldn't have a problem seeing QR and CX space.
