$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Thanks. Here's hoping I can get them to cancel with no redeposit fees, being that one flight was delayed for 40 min.
Good luck!

If it doesn't work, try to do a date change to winter time when there's better chance of bigger delays.

Will be in CLE last week of August. Looking to burn some AA miles. Any suggestions for direct flights from CLE in F ? I have 2 possibly 3 days at the most

Your options for direct flights are CLT, ORD, DFW, MIA, LGA, PHL and DCA.

None of those sound particularly exciting to waste on fake F.

Take a stopover flight and go to Europe for a couple of days. If you'd rather stay closer, you can go to Banff area.

Any chance AA might redeposit my miles from my thailand trip for free, due to the recent bombings.

I have a saver award out of IAD tomorrow night. I'm originating in NYC, but have my first leg booked as JFK-DCA because there hadn't been any saver availability to IAD. There still isn't saver availability NYC-IAD, but I see there are plenty of flights tomorrow (NYC-CLT-IAD) with available seats. Is there any possibility for me to get on of those flights? Maybe standby? I'm not looking forward to schlepping my luggage between airports!

if its booked as one award then you can change the routing for free as long as origin and destination stay the same

It would be 2 awards. Even LHR-AUH-SYD would be 2 awards.
