Call. That does not sound usual at all. I did it twice last week and the miles were back in the account within minutes.

Thanks called them and they redeposited while on the phone.

I just canceled tonight's flight and it went right back into inventory.

If there's availability TLV-AMM in J only, and AMM-ORD in Y only, is there a way to combine the booking so as not to spend 70k points (30k TLV-AMM, 40k AMM-ORD) for the ticket?

They only release J on that leg for some reason even though that flight is usually 2/3rds empty.
You can book it for 9k avios and around $75.

whenever you change the origin or destination it is considered a new award and would require a change fee plus the difference in mileage but actually if you just need to add more miles there won't be a fee. You just pay the additional miles as the fee is for re-depositing miles.

I called AA to change:
JFK CLT IAD AUH
but 2 agents are saying they can't see JFK CLT IAD in the inventory from the pre devaluation. (Which is available on SAVER AWARD on AA.com)is this something I should HUCA or it is what it is?!

Should I try AA Australia\Fiji?

Thanks, they are saying EY Etihad is not a one world alliance partner and they can only modify one world partners only. Does that make sense?
