$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

AA Award search isn't working for me. hope they're aren't 'major upgrades' in the works. Also hope that when it comes back up there will be tons of LAX-JFK availability, because, why not hope?

Can you try jfk to lax RT 3/2-3/5 and see if that works for mileage redemption?

I used AA to reserve Air Berlin Y. My Air Berlin app shows booked fare as Business Classic. Anyone with similar experience?
I have a short connection (1 hour) in TGL. Do I get Fast Security Lane?

There was an aircraft switch from a 2-2-2 on 787 to a 2-3-2 on 777.
Any way to get them to waive cancelation fee?

ht lucky
no one would honor it
In the fine print it says had to have been initiated by American and this was done by JAL.
Pointless.

HUCA they have redeposited awards for me for free with a 5 minute schedule change so aircraft change definitely has a fighting chance

Booked seperate AA and IB awards. JFK-MAD MAD-TLV. Can luggage be checked all the way through? I know there was a change last year to the interline agreement. But practically, does anyone have experience. The AA is in J, if thay makes a difference.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

I had to book a last minute flight, my AA gold expired the week prior, I was furious to find that #1 the flight I wanted was not in saver (12.5k) but regular 20k and that AA charges 86 effing dollars which I discovered is if you book less than 21 days prior and dont have status. That is such BS!!!!
