$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

No, but you can book with avios, and no fee
there are lots of times where its better to book w AA than BA despite the $75 fee and it could be non-saver where you have no option of BA

Why/when?
QR J, or many itineraries involving connections.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

AA now allows you to cancel awards for free within 24 hours of booking if flight is more than 2 days out.
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

Saw that also, I'm assuming this applies to partner awards as well?

Is that two days from when you book it,or two days from when you want to cancel it?

Flying TLV-JFK  with a stopover in LHR,  i'd like to extend the layover, so far there is no later flights available for Saver,  my question is if it opens up availability once I have already checked in at TLV, will I be able to still change the 2nd flight?

ba is booked by segment so they should be able to do it but it would cost 15k

I've always received priority access in such bookings despite lack of elite status
