$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Hey Guys,

I have 167,000 AA miles and would love to sell them, but everyone tells me that is to risky, so i was wondering if anyone knew good use for them. I want to fly business/first with my wife and I dont really care to which country. Wondering if anyone knows of any of the best deals taking miles.

Almost an oxymoron. I'm sure there is something you can do. I believe AJK recently took a nice little trip using some AA points there.

I want to book ZRH-JFK-BWI. Only ZRH-JFK has saavor available right now, if I book that flight, can I add JFK-BWI when it comes available without a change fee?

You would need to book it as a separate ticket.

Thanks.
There's availability for ZRH-JFK, LGA-DCA. When JFK-BWI comes available will I be able to switch it? Fee?

Free change only applies to date not departure or destination city.

You can request that AA open up space on a domestic leg when booking an international award ticket.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Nope, their wait time is notoriously long. Put your phone on speaker so you'll hear when someone picks up and do other stuff meanwhile.

I got them on the phone and it is available while it is not available on the website. There is a $25 USD charge per person to do it on the phone. Is there any way out of that? Thanks again for all your help

Just tell them it isn't available online and you had no choice but to call.
