$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

When I called last week they said that for online cancellations you need to call for refund so I guess it's YMMV.
They told me this.
You'll need to call, seems to be some glitch
At first they told me that I have to go to the airport for the refund as the taxes where paid in a different currency.

After an hour on hold they told me they were able to refund me the miles and the taxes.

The miles have now come back into my account, they said 5-10 days for the refund on my credit card.
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

When a choose one way LAX-TLV, it prices at 85k and only gives options through JFK or MIA.
But when I choose Multi City LAX-LHR, LHR-TLV, it prices at 45k.
And then when i choose flights, it gives me an error message.
Any help?

Exactly the same story. Spent 57m53s on the phone to refund 2 PNRs with 7 tickets connected.
Because they were already removed from the PNRs they had to create new ones with the ticket numbers. I think she then had to contact her help desk to process the refund in a foreign currency.

Yes. Just cancelled BA flights booked with AA and was refunded without fee.

Do AA miles get credited back immediately upon cancelation of award booking, or does it take some time?

I apologize if this has been discussed already, or if this is a very uneducated question. I have a domestic economy AA flight that i booked with Qantas points. Is there any option to pay CASH to upgrade to first? The difference is only $100 between coach and first if I pay cash entirely for the ticket today outright, is there any chance that i can just pay $100 now to upgrade?

Thanks.
It's the same 51.5k like with BA (nothing compared to the 25k it used to be with Etihed).

assuming availability is non existent ?

and recently AA has very limited flights lax-jfk as they are relying on the jb partnership. hopefully that'll change in  a few days and AA will add flights back and maybe add some web specials.

The last 2 years they have been releasing quite a bit of last minute availability.
