$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

you might have to call AA to get it
I did.
I don't see anywhere on AB's website an option to select seats. Is it possible?

Just to point out in case you didn't know.
You can now book on AA metal Buisness MileSAAver  on many dates to and from Europe in the spring/summer!
Certain dates even in First.

I had the same problem on AA from JFK-LHR, and nothing opened up even till the last minute, while there were plenty space there to buy thickets
I think it's not worth risking. I don't want to be stuck in economy for such a long flight...thanks

If you can find something that works for you now, probably best to lock that in.

I ended up getting JFK-VCP in the reconfigured 763. I wonder if AA would charge a change fee to switch to JFK-GRU is saver availability opens up? The destination airport is obviously not the exact same but it is the same vicinity, in the same sense that JFK/LGA/EWR are the "same". Any thoughts?

Do the low-season awards apply for travel on US as well? I'm pricing out an award ticket NYC-LIR, and some options (including any that have US metal and one that is all on AA) are 17.5K. Others are 15K.

Is it possible to refund the miles on an AA award without cancelling the PNR and have it reticketed from another mileage account?

I used a friends Executive Platinum account to book a reservation I'm not sure I'll fly, when (and if) I do decide to fly, I'd rather use my miles and not his. Is there any way to have it switched over to my miles?

regarding those asking about the 10% rebate, I got such a rebate a while ago, but not since my last reservation, I called AA about it (citi rep had no idea, so called AA) they told me only the regular personal cards have this benefit not the Executive nor the Business, I currently have both, but none of the regular cards, I was told I'm not eligible for the rebate on my last redemption.
